Before I order it, I was wondering if there are any other Mark products that you guys swear buy? I'm interested in trying out some more so throw any suggestions my way! interview makeup [ November 11th, 2009 • 10:43am ] beauty101 [foxbaby] [ mood | bouncy ] I know this gets asked a lot :( I'm going for a job interview for a McCafe position (the McCafe is inside a larger McDonalds) I don't know what sort of clothing/makeup would be appropriate as the last time I had to interview for a job it was 2003 and I previously worked in makeup and health+beauty retail. I don't know if this is going to be an interview or an orientation type thing either, as I was only told to bring my bank details for payroll in, so I don't want to turn up in heels if I'm going to be being shown the fridges or something. headshot makeup...help!! [ November 10th, 2009 • 4:43pm ] beauty101 [taza_rota] my company is making us all get headshots. and we're required to wear makeup. we have makeup artists who are going to apply it for us, but i want to bring my own products for allergy/hygiene reasons (they said that was fine). only problem: i NEVER wear makeup (and never have). i do not own any makeup. so tomorrow i have to go out and buy everything i need (ugh). HELP ME! i'm guessing i'll need foundation of some sort, blush, eyeliner, mascara, lipstick, and brushes. maybe eyeshadow. so... a) what product recommendations do you have for all those things? drugstore brands preferred, but i'll go to sephora or ulta if need be. b) what kind/how many brushes do i need? c) is there anything else i've forgotten that someone would generally wear for a professional headshot-type photo? a photo of me just for reference is ( under the cut ) THANK YOU SO MUCH in advance!! 17 comments | reply | edit | memory
